My Junior Year
So far Junior year is going well. I like all of my classes especially my first period, I am a Teacher's Aide and I have a lot of free time to catch up on work from other classes. For second period I have beginning art and I am getting a lot of level 4's, I didn't know I was that good at drawing. English class is good too, I increased in my SRI score. For fourth period I have my Careers in Education class, I enjoy going to school sites and help tutor kids, its one of my most favorite classes. I enjoy it because working with kids is something that I want to do in the future. My fifth period class is a bit difficult because its Intermediate guitar and I struggle a little but other than that I love playing the guitar. Then there's math class, it is super stressing! But I am getting a lot of help from my teacher and I am trying my best, so I should be fine. Finally I have U.S History, another one of my favorite classes because I have that class with my friends. It can get a bit difficult but I make sure that I do all my assignments. One of the most memorable moments that I have had so far this year is when I performed in the guitar ensemble with my class, it was my second year performing and it was very exciting, I think we sounded great. I am still undecided about what college to attend, but I will return to school after high school for sure. In terms of a career I see myself as a teacher because I love working with kids.

The Journey Continues...
Every time I think of Graduation day I feel a mix of emotions, I feel sad because I am going to miss high school and my class, I get happy because I am so close to a goal that I have been pursuing since I started school and I also feel worried because I still have a lot of things to get done so I can actually acconplish my goal and graduate. I’ve always dreamed of walking alongside my twin sister to receive our diploma, I am going to do whatever I can to make that dream possible. Some preparations that I have been doing for post-graduation is to look for the perfect college so I can continue to pursue my dream career. I am still deciding between becoming an elementary teacher or a nurse, I’m just going to have to wait and see which is more convenient and suitable for me. I still have a lot of things to do before graduation, like finish my classes, get my website done, finish my Job shadow, present my exit interview and pass it! I am going to make sure that I finish all of these on time. What I am looking forward to the most this year is my exit interview, Grad Night and Graduation Day. I am planning to complete my Exit interview early in January because I want to get over with it and I want to focus on finishing my classes to get my credits. I am excites for Grad night and Graduaion Day, the fat that I get to experience both of these events with my class and my friends is so exciting.

The Last First Day
It’s hard to believe that I am starting my last year at Lindsay High School, I didn’t think I would actually make it this far. So far senior year is going well, I have classes with all of my friends. I love my classes, my most favorite is Careers in Education because I get to interact with kids and I want to pursue a career in teaching. I also have English 12, Integrated Math 3, Government that next semester is going to be Economics, I also got Accounting 1 which I didn't choose as a class but seems interesting and finally Psychology which is also very interesting and one of my career pathway courses. I am going to try my best to stay on pace on all of my classes because I want to be able to graduate and walk down the football field to finally receive my diploma. I am currently working on getting my job shadow and life map done before the due date on September 1st. The most interesting thing about my senior project is the exit interview, I am really looking forward to it because it is going to determine whether or not I graduate, I am working hard on my eye contact so I can do a good job. The thing that I am most excited about is Graduation Day. I am looking forward to being independent and getting out into the world. My goals this year are to stay on pace on all of my classes, to pass all of my classes before the deadline, and be able to walk on graduation day. I realized that you will face obstacles in life and struggle along the way to reach your dreams but that isn’t a reason to give up, it’s a reason to try even harder.
